Board Game Design
Traditional board games invite interaction. The purpose of this project is to create a new board game and design all of components that embraces not only interaction, but also enhance creativity, self-confidence, laughter, and fun!
The Door is an ice-breaking game, and the goal is to increase interaction through teamwork and get closer to each others. This game is inspired by the sentence, “You never know what is behind the door.” The players need to complete different kind of missions depending on which character they are this time. This game also requests teamwork to solve the problems, and that is when the creativities work. There will be a lot of fun and laughters playing The Door!
The project was created by using a lot of illustration and bright colors to highlight a playful and joyful environment. Each figure’s mission follows its own character. Through finishing the personal missions and team missions, players will have interactions with other players and perhaps will get closer to each other.
